TRC Financial COVID-19 Virus Business Continuity Preparations

Updated: Apr 8, 2020

Dear Valued Clients and Advisors:

TRC Financial has been closely following the COVID-19 virus developments in the U.S. We want to reassure you that our operations are functioning at expected levels. Our firm is open for business to serve you and/or your clients.

We made a commitment to the cloud years ago which enables our firm to operate in virtually any environment. This includes Salesforce as our secure platform for managing clients and policies, Office 365 & G-Suite for document storage and communication, and a VOIP phone system allowing us to be available from virtually any location.

We wanted to share some of the steps we are taking to maintain our operations for client service, critical reporting for corporate clients, and underwriting for placing new policies.

Remote Work: Our team has the capability to work offsite for an extended period, if needed. We are able to connect and communicate in real-time through various collaboration tools which are built into our cloud services allowing us to provide the required levels of policy service to you.

Sales & Underwriting Support: Our new business underwriting and sales support teams are available at our normal times and are fully able to operate our sales operations electronically. This includes review of financial analysis via online screen sharing, gathering medical records electronically, scheduling insurance company medical exams at your home, and obtaining necessary signatures and providing relevant product details and disclosures via e-sign capabilities through DocuSign to issue new life insurance policies.

Issuing New Life Insurance Policies: Our new business team, along with our life insurance carrier partners, are fully operational to underwrite and issue new life insurance policies. This includes corporate, individual and trust owned policies.

In light of the unprecedented COVID-19 health crisis, we recommend this post from McKinsey & Company that provides insights on the implications of the virus on business today and possible scenarios for the future.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We thank you for the opportunity to be of continued service.

Sincerely,

Darren Gallaway & Jim Roberson
